Green TV http://www.japangreen.tv/index.html
Sometimes I check out some websites like this because we don’t have a TV or a Radio.
Green TV http://www.japangreen.tv/act/#/001000
This website deals with, for example, environmental problems, social problems, and some people who strive to overcome them. .It’s interesting and something to really learn from.
I found a very cool guy on it.
Tsuda Fish Shop – Mr.Tsuda Yuki http://www.japangreen.tv/act/#/001000
He runs a fish shop in Miyagi. Watch his interview! It’s so passionate and impressive.
Even here in Kyoto, far away from Tohoku, we can see many flags that say things like “Hang in there, Tohoku!” and donation boxes for Tohoku. The passionately supportive sentiment is palpable, but it’s like the interview gives you energy instead.
He belongs to this organization.
Securite Dizaster area support fund http://oen.securite.jp/
You can donate money as an investment and also make a donation at the same time to companies registered with the website. I’d like to participate because you can be an investor which is different from simply making a donation, so it’s like we can better imagine how our money will be spent and how the disaster victims are living. Also, it’s not so expensive. You can make donations starting from \10500 which is good for people who don’t have much money they can spare.
Amid all the bad news we’re confronted with everyday, this news is a breath of fresh air.
